Green and Sustainable
"Our goal is to stay ahead of the curve in every area - including being an environmentally friendly green leader."-Brad Stiers, President/CEO
Efficient use of resources, a commitment to eco-friendly inks and sustainable forestry practices, and in-house recycling efforts have made Pacific Printing a market leader. Pacific continues to look for more ways that it can innovate and deliver on its promise to be an environmentally aware organization. The recent award of three Chain-of-Custody Certifications (detailed below) demonstrates this continued commitment to protecting the environment. These certifications allow customers to in turn proclaim their commitment to sustainable business practices through the printing of the appropriate logos on qualifying materials produced at Pacific.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
Recognized internationally as the most rigorous Forest Management standard for promoting environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world's forests.
The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC)
Promotes sustainably managed forests through independent third party certification.
The Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI)
A comprehensive system of principles, objectives and performance measures developed by foresters, conservationists and scientists that combine the perpetual growing and harvesting of trees with the protection of wildlife, plants, soil, and water quality.
